This story begins with Susan on one of her many stone buying trips to various shows, exhibitions, and offices around the world. Susan keeps all of her clients in mind while on buying trips and immediately thought of a dear and long standing client for a beautiful pair of rubies.
This client has always loved the deep red of a high quality ruby and they go wonderfully with her complexion. Susan then approached her lovely husband and proposed an idea for a fabulous pair of drop earrings. Her husband agreed and just like that, the design phase had begun!
Drop earrings come in many different shapes and sizes and we knew the style direction was going to be something similar to the earrings below.
After, we developed a more scaled sketch of the final product.
Choose a beautiful layout of stones for the client to approve...
Then took inspiration on how we wanted the clasp to hug the ear of our client for the most comfortable everyday wear.
Then off to setting they went! Take a look at the final product, which is pictured in the first photo of this post. Our client absolutely adores her earrings and wears them daily!
